What is an electric surfboard?+
An electric surfboard is a powered board for riding on water. Awake makes electric jetboards in its RÄVIK range and electric eFoils in its VINGA range; these ride differently.
What is an electric jetboard, and does it need waves?+
An electric jetboard is an electric surfboard propelled through the water by its own motor. Unlike a traditional surfboard, it does not need a wave to move.

Can I hire or rent an electric surfboard?+
Awake Sessions are not standalone board hire or an unsupervised rental service. They are coached rides; check a location page for booking availability, or join the waitlist for updates.
Are Sessions coached or unsupervised board hire?+
Sessions are coached riding, not unsupervised board hire. You can also indicate interest in private or group riding on the waitlist; that does not make it a bookable package.
Can I buy an Awake electric surfboard?+

What is the difference between a Session and a ride-before-you-buy demo?+
A Session is a coached riding experience. A ride-before-you-buy demo is for exploring a board before purchasing; see Book a Demo for that enquiry.
How do I join the waitlist and choose a location?+

When are Session dates and prices available?+
Dates and prices depend on the location and are shown on its page when bookings open. If a location is not yet bookable, join the waitlist for updates; joining is not a reservation.
